Rafael Iturralde is a security consultant/specialist with 20+ years of active law enforcement and investigative experience, serving as a Detective with the NYPD. Rafael’s extensive training and areas of expertise include, dignitary protection, emergency entries, room clearing, vehicular take-downs, undercover rescues/extractions, low light operations, TacMed, Narcan trained, CPR and AED certified.

Shawn Wandel

Shawn Wandel is an active officer for the Special Operations Division for Highway District 1. In this role, Shawn provides specialized motor vehicle and motorcycle escorts for high profile dignitaries including, the President and Vice President of the United States, Secretary of State and visiting American and Foreign dignitaries. Shawn was also assigned to Mayor Bloomberg’s dignitary protection detail.

Mario Estrada

Mario Estrada spent 25 years in law enforcement. Prior to law enforcement, Mario served six years in the United States Marine Corps Reserves where he was an active participant in Desert storm and reaching the rank of Sergeant. Mario earned his B.S. from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology. Mario was hired as a Prosecutor’s Agent at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office (HCPO); was a Detective for the Rockland County Narcotics Task Force under the office of the District Attorney’s Office for Rockland County (RCDA) and spent the last 20 years with the NJ Attorney General Office Detective and was a member of the Attorney General’s Shooting Response Team (SRT) and the High Risk Entry Team (HRT) while being promoted to the rank of Sergeant. While serving in the NJ Attorney General’s office, Executive Protection providing escorts for the talent and dignitaries attending the Super Bowl (SB) for the National Football League (NFL). Starting with SB XLI (2007) to present.

Christopher Briecke

Executive Protection

Chris Briecke retired from the NYPD in 2012 as a 2nd grade detective in the narcotics division. With nearly 25 years of law enforcement experience, Chris has conducted long term investigations into narcotics trafficking, executing hundreds of search warrants. Chris holds private investigator licenses in New York and Virginia; is a licensed armed guard in New York State; and has been trained as an instructor in active shooter. With substantial training in dignitary protection, Chris served on a protection detail for President Obama. In Chris’ current role at Fox News, he serves as an Executive Protection Specialist and routinely is responsible for driving and escorting talent and celebrities. Chris is also a police officer with the Middletown Police Department.

Edward Redmond

Ed Redmond is part of our Boston team, retired Special Agent for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Inspector General. Ed is a financial crimes expert who has served as a defensive tactics instructor for over 20 years and owned his own Defensive Tactics business. Ed has worked with the fugitive felon task force in Boston, MA and Concord, NH and coordinated HUD’s national policy for use of force and defensive tactics.
